We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal information is always handled by us according to the legal data protection regulations. We have appointed a proficient and reliable expert external data protection officer. The external data protection officer is provided by UIMC Dr. Voßbein GmbH & Co KG.
In the following we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data.
Collection and processing of personal data
You may always use our online service without disclosing your identity. Should we request personal data (such as name, address or e-mail address) on our website, for example, within the scope of contact forms or for login/registration, this is done on a voluntary basis. We use this information for internal business purposes (such as sending the requested materials or information).
Contact form
For questions of any kind we offer you the option of contacting us using the contact form we provide on our website. The data marked as mandatory information is required by us in order to allocate and answer the request. Additional information can be entered on a voluntary basis. The data processing for the purpose of establishing contact with us is done according to the German data protection regulation (article 6, section 1, p. 1, lit. a DSGVO) based on your voluntarily granted consent.
The request is forwarded by us to the responsible ABUS company and/or an external sales partner in your area so that fast and optimal advice is ensured.
If you have requested a contact partner in a country outside of the EU, we will forward your data there. You also then consent, if applicable, to your data being transferred to a country without an adequate data protection standard (article 49, section 1, lit. a DSGVO). In doing so, we guarantee that the data will only be processed by sales partners working together with us.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted after completion of the request you have placed and after the expiry of the retention obligations set by tax-related and commercial laws.
The consent you have granted may be revoked at any time without providing reasons, effective for the future. To do this you may use the above mentioned contact form or another means of communication.
